Lol so somewhat expectedly, I lost interest in this project once I got stuck.

I haven't given up however, I've decided to use a public domain map say of Ancient Egypt instead:

This also gives me place names, terrain etc :)

as well as a cultural theme

Economics and Politics

So got snagged on the map, I'm thinking I might concentrate on one land mass and detail that and just roughly sketch the others.
